Protecting against age discrimination in employment is the aim of a bill introduced recently by Senators Patrick Leahy of Vermont, Tom Harkin of Iowa and Congressman George MIller of California.  The bill seeks to reverse a decision by the Supreme Court, Gross v FBL Services, that seriously eroded protections against age discrimination.  The New York Times covers this story, "Democrats Working To Overturn Justices On Age Bias."
