A fatal crash in Georgetown Friday afternoon, June 14, 2013, that killed one woman has resulted also in a charge of reckless homicide against the driver.  Vickie Carol Lynch was killed when a van driven by Tyler Knueppel ran a red light and struck Lynch's car killing her.  There was no indication that drugs or alcohol had a role in the accident; it appears that Knueppel simply wasn't paying attention and ran a red light, according to Georgetown police. Knueppel was in Georgetown to help with an event at Bluegrass Baptist Church.
