Food Safety Imperiled by Corporate and Political Interference

Corporate and political interference with the scientists and inspectors charged with assuring the safety of America's food safety continues reports the Los Angeles Times, "Government Food Safety Scientists Report Political, Corporate Interference."  About 1700 scientists and inspectors responded to the survey and about half reported that corporate or political pressures on the FDA had resulted in the change or abandonment of policies intended to protect the public and America's food supply.
