The Upper Big Branch coal mine disaster that killed 29 coal miners on April 5, 2010, produced a 3 year prison sentence for Massey Energy's security director at the mine, Hughie Elbert Stover. Stover was found guilty by a jury last year of lying to federal investigators about safety practices at the mine and attempting to destroy documents.  Stover is the second Massey Energy official sent to prison over his actions related to the Upper Big Branch disaster.  Read more in the Charleston Gazette: Ex-Massey Security Director Gets 3 Years In UBB Case.
