Withdrawal of a job offer after the candidate disclosed she was pregnant resulted in a $113,800 pregnancy discrimination verdict against Lucas Films, the company founded by Star Wars creator, George Lucas.  Julie Veronese claimed that her job offer was withdrawn after she told the company she was pregnant.  The jury's verdict awarded $93,800 in lost wages and $20,000 in other damages on Veroneses's pregnancy discrimination claim.
