The U.S. House of Representatives passed last week the Protecting Older Workers Against Discrimination Act, a bill that would strengthen age discrimination protections. This bill would reverse effectively a Supreme Court decision a few years ago that weakened federal age discrimination law. Somewhat disappointingly, Rep. Andy Barr voted against the bill strengthening protections against age discrimination. The bill will now go to the Senate.
