A "culture of gender bias" at the core of a class action lawsuit claiming sex discrimination on behalf of more than 100,000 female employees of Wal-Mart in California may allow the case to go forward as a class action a federal district judge has ruled. Last year the United States Supreme Court ruled that a nation-wide sex discrimination suit against Wal-Mart could not go forward as a class action. This case is an off-shoot of that ruling.
