A sales rep for the drug company, Hoffman-LaRoche Inc., has won a $1.868 million verdict in his age discrimination case against the company.  Randy Dossat, who had an excellent long-term employment record wtih the company, reported age discriminatory statements by his supervisor such as referring to him repeatedly as "old school," negatively remarking on his "tenure" with the company and that he did not fit in the company's "new environment."  When he reported this unlawful conduct, he was subjected to retaliation. The jury's verdict in Las Vegas was $168,000 in lost wages and $1.7 million for emotional distress and mental anguish damages.
