A discrimination lawsuit against Best Buy charging discrimination in its hiring process against women, blacks and Latinos has been settled. The company will pay the nine plaintiffs a total of $290,000 and will also implement a number of procedures intended to eliminate discriminatory practices from its hiring process including use of an electronic registry list available positions.
