An Iowa trucking company will pay $50,000 to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit. The case has progressed since 2005 when a female employee of CRST Van Expedited Inc. filed a claim that a male employee made crude sexual remarks and advances toward her. In 2007, a lawsuit was filed on behalf of the female employees at CRST by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The women claim that they were all subject to offensive comments and groping by male drivers. The lawsuit looked to compensate the women financially and end sexual harassment in the workplace.
