An injured worker has a "permanent partial disability" where he or she can work but, due to a work injury, has suffered a permanent impairment under Kentucky workers compensation law. The degree of the permanent impairment will determine the amount of workers compensation benefits that the injured worker will receive and how long those benefits will be paid.
