$1.1 Million Verdict In Retaliation Case

A woman claiming that she was retaliated against for having reported to police that another employee was harassing her was awarded $1.1 million in damages by a jury.  After the other employee resigned, criminal charges were filed against the woman but those charges were dropped by the prosecutor's office.  She then filed a malicious prosecution lawsuit based on the bogus criminal charges.
