$450,000 Verdict In Retaliation Case

A jury returned a verdict awarding an Arkansas woman $450,000 in damages after finding that she was retaliated against after complaining of and reporting racial harassment and sex discrimination.  The jury found that Lashanda Shaw was unlawfully retaliated against when she was fired by Goodyear Tire after complaining of discrimination and filing a charge with the EEOC.
