Breast Cancer Survivor Sues for Wrongful Termination

A breast cancer survivor and former chief financial officer of a major New York law firm, Proskauer Rose, has sued the firm after she was demoted then fired following her return from medical leave.  Elly Rosenthal took several weeks of leave for breast cancer treatment and recovery. Her suit claims gender and disability discrimination.
