City Settles Sexual Harassment Suit for $1 Million

For $1 million the City of Mercer Island, Washington has settled its sexual harassment and retaliation suit brought by its former city manager, Londi Lindell.  Lindell's suit was rife with allegations of city councilmen lewd comments, the city manager's sexual pursuit of a subordinate, sexual jokes and comments. Lindell will received, in addition to $1 million, amendment of her employment records to reflect a resignation, the city will pay for the services of a placement firm and has provided her with a letter of reference.
