Firefighter Settles Sex Discrimination Suit for $3.35 Million

A female firefighter in Fresno, California has settled her sex discrimination suit against the city for $3.35 million.  Michelle Maher claimed in her suit that she was forced out of the fire training academy because of her female gender and that academy supervisors asked her personal questions, set her up to fail certain tasks and unfairly graded some of her academy exams.
