FMLA Violated By Retroactive Termination of Health Insurance

The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) was violated by an employer's retroactive termination of an employee's medical insurance, the Seventh Circuit has ruled in Ryl-Kuchar v. Care Centers, Inc. The FMLA requires that the benefits of an employee on FMLA leave be maintained at the same level as they would be if she were working and their termination was a violation the court ruled.  Learn more about this case and your rights under the FMLA here
