Greater Protection Against Age Discrimination Urged

Legislation increasing the protections against age discrimination is lauded in an editorial in the New York Times, "Fairness for Older Workers." Legislation introduced by Senator Tom Harkin of Iowa and Congressman George Miller of California would restore the protections against age discrimination that the Supreme Court eliminated in a misguided 5-4 decision last year.
