Sexual Harassment Suit by Police Officers Settled For $5 Million

A sexual harassment lawsuit by 14 female police officers has been settled for nearly  $5 million reports the San Jose Mercury News, "Hayward Police Harassment Lawsuit Settled For Nearly $5 Million."  The Heyward, California police officers claimed systemic harassment based on their gender and sexual orientation.  Nine of the police officers remain employed at the police department.
